First Day of School (1 week late)

Well, it is official...Lucy is a Kindergartener! I can hardly believe it. It seems the last 5 years have flashed by.

So far, she is doing pretty good. She gets a little sad at drop off and during lunch (Food must remind her of home!), but she is really getting into the bus! She loves recess and P.E. Hopefully, she will get as excited about reading and math!

Gracie and I are doing pretty good too. The first day seemed to drag by, but now we are getting into the swing of things. Gracie starts preschool next week (stay tuned) and I have started working part time. All in all, we are one busy family these days!

Anyways, here are a few snaps of Lucy's first day!

Frio Fun

We spent last week with our awesome Fairfield friends (family) at a lodge in Concan. We had such a great time. The girls played all day and into the night. We swam, ate, laughed, played, fished, stayed up way too late, and even relaxed. It was a great end of summer trip.

This trip really made me realize how much I miss our friends. Some days I wish our home was still on the loop!

From a crafty galaxy far, far away...

Sara and I decided to tackle a few craft projects last weekend. This was my favorite. We made them for a good friend's sons' birthdays. We made two different boards. One was space and the other was a ocean. They were really fun to put together and so easy.
I wish I could spend more time crafting, but unfortunately, I am usually too tired by the end of the day. I wonder why...
EDITED: There are no new Varnells on the way.... I am too tired from chasing after the other two, to even think about adding to our chaos! :)

Big Girl Bed

We finally made the jump to a big girl bed for Gracie. She has been pretty cramped in her crib for awhile, but I have been putting off moving her, because I didn't want to admit she was getting so big. She was so proud and went right to sleep without a word. Next thing I know, she is going to be getting her driver's license.
