Nine

Wow! I seems like just yesterday that we were starting our married lives together and here we are nine years later... still as happy as we were that day. Through all the good times and just a few bad, we have grown stronger as a couple and as individuals.

I love you, Chris! May each day be more fun, each month more exciting, each year more amazing...

Here's to many, many many more anniversaries together!

River Time 2009

We spent last weekend at the Blanco River in Wimberley with our extended family. It was a menagerie of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, sisters, brothers, husbands, and wives... And a tons of kids!

The girls loved every minute of it. The river was really low, so we didn't do any tubing, but the "hot tub" was hopping and the adult beverages were flowing!

All in all, it was a great trip. We had a few minor mishaps, including a scorpion stinging the hubby, and no sleep for me, but the fun totally out weighed the bad. It is so great to be able to sit back, relax, and enjoy your family. I can hardly wait until next year!

River Trip 2009

I can't seem to stop myself. I have a serious addiction to my camera. (Who is thankfully back from a quick stay at the camera hospital... Stinky sensor just begged to be cleaned!)

Beach Babes...

We headed down to Surfside Saturday, for a little beachy R&R with our family and friends. It was such a great time. We got down there about 3:30 and didn't leave until after dark. Evening time has got to be the BEST time to be at the beach. Even the seaweed didn't dampen my spirits.

The girls built several sand castles, ran through the waves, and looked for shells. The boys fished until they couldn't see anymore and then we had a bonfire and made smores. It was perfect!

My middle child (my camera) is at the doctor's office, so I had to rely on Chris' point and shoot for my picture taking.

I hope we can get down there a few more times this summer...

Summer is here

and our girls have officially sprouted gills and fins. Lucy amazes us with her skills in the pool and Grace scares me with her fearlessness! They would both swim all day every day, if we could handle it. Lucky for them, Chris and I love it too! Here's to 3 more months of swimming fun!

Daddy Time

We have been so blessed to have Daddy home for the last few weeks. We had so much fun having him around every day. We went to the zoo, the beach, played outside, and just goofed off. It was great! We were so spoiled! We are really going to miss him, when he goes back to the real world.
